VOTE ON FUSED GLASS ART AT SLUMPWORKS THIS WEEK!

Welcome to my online glass gallery, but please be aware that the "gallery" is simply a place in time - the inventory is always changing. I can create or recreate most of our functional designs in your size (within limits) or color. I'd rather make *just* what you want rather than try to sell you something else. So do contact me regarding commissions.

I am a member of the Artists Studios at Fearrington Village. Our next event will be Art in the Village, in the Fearrington Village Center on Sunday, May 20, 10 am - 3 pm. Please join me and many of the other Fearrington Artists! Visit our Facebook Page  or our Blog.

Artist's Statement
I have always been mesmerized by glass. Growing up in a Victorian house with stained-glass windows, I marveled at how glass alters light, with multi-colored sun puddles filling my childhood spaces. It was those memories that drew me to later work in stained-glass. As a science major, I love the liquid qualities of a medium we think of as a solid. Through my experience as a potter, I appreciate the alchemical effects of heat on both clay and glazes (glass). My incursion into fused and cast art glass is the culmination of my enjoyment of working with both stained-glass and pottery, finding this exciting new medium with which to work.
